Lincoln was our first Weimaraner and was a joy. Relaxed at home, he usually slept in later than we did, but get him into the field and he was all drive & desire!

​

Lincoln was hard-headed from the get-go and was a real handful in field training, but with a lot of work (both him and his handler!) and bonding, he showed us what great potential he had.  His intense drive and desire have led to some great days afield.  He also had excellent water work as evidenced by him earning his Retrieving Dog Excellent title with the Weimaraner Association of Canada. He finished his CKC Show Championship on June 22, 2013.

It was a joy to watch him do what he loved.  His pups have shown that same drive, desire, unbreakable spirit and water love.

​

We lost Lincoln in July 2020, and although we miss him terribly, we are thrilled his lineage is being carried on by his kids and grandkids.
